Remember all the times you excitedly waved your Homer Hanky at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome? When you look at this State Icon print of "The Dome," you'll reminisce about the good times: that MVP-worthy pitching by Frank "Sweet Music" Viola, that homer by Kirby Puckett, those wrestling moves by Kent Hrbek vs. Ron Gant…and so many more.
Our framed digital illustration pays tribute to the stadium that transformed into a baseball diamond for the Minnesota Twins and a football field for the Minnesota Vikings. The Twins won two World Series titles under its Teflon sky, in 1987 and 1991. In its last few years, it was renamed to Mall of America Field, and only the Vikings played there since the Twins moved across downtown Minneapolis to play at Target Field.
