Do you adore Fairchild? Hang this print of the dapper fellow somewhere you'll see it every day, and always be reminded of him and his home: the Minnesota State Fair!
Our landmark drawing honors the 24-foot-tall fiberglass gopher created by Gordon Shumaker in 1966. The statue greets visitors to the fairgrounds in St. Paul and Falcon Heights.
There are four finish types for this print: one comes in a mini handmade frame, and the others come in mats in various sizes. To learn more, click Details in the dropdown menu below.

To finish your print, choose from four options:
1. Handmade, hand-painted black, beveled wooden frame—approximately 3.875" wide x 3.5" tall x 1 inch in depth, so it can stand on its own on a flat surface. Or it can hang on a wall by the sawtooth hanger that's attached to the back. Your print will be protected by hand-cut recycled glass, and the finished piece weighs approximately 4 oz.
2. 3.5 x 5.5 inch print with a mat that brings the full piece to 5 x 7 inches. The finished, matted print comes to you in a clear sleeve to keep it protected. This 5 x 7 size is standard, so it's easy to frame (it does not come with a frame).
3. 5 x 7 inch print with a mat that brings the full piece to 8 x 10 inches. The finished, matted print comes to you in a clear sleeve to keep it protected. This 8 x 10 size is standard, so it's easy to frame (it does not come with a frame).
4. 8 x 10 inch print with a mat that brings the full piece to 11 x 14 inches. The finished, matted print comes to you in a clear sleeve to keep it protected. This 11 x 14 size is standard, so it's easy to frame (it does not come with a frame).
If so, we'll include a handwritten card—just type in the Notes section what you'd like to say.

Exchanges can be made within 30 days of order date if your item was damaged in transit, or if the wrong item was mailed to you (but that's only happened once!). Returns will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
